- First of all, make sure that the place where you want to grow a peach is in a place closed from cold and strong winds, with plenty of sunlight.
- From peach fruits, you need to separate the seeds and immediately soak them in water for several days. The water in which the stones are soaked should be changed twice a day.
- After the bones have been soaked in water in the prescribed time, they need to be thoroughly dried, it is best to do this in the shade of a tree so that direct sunlight does not fall on them.
- Next, fully dried seeds must be opened to extract the seed. This must be done very carefully so as not to damage the delicate interior. Put a bone on the edge and gently chop it with a hammer with a few strokes. The peach seeds thus obtained must be stored in a cool, dry place.
- Sow peach seeds in the fall, in October or November, in open ground. They are planted to a depth of approximately 5 cm, and the distance between the planting should be at least 10 cm. It is not recommended to sow peach seeds in close proximity to other fruiting trees, they should be separated by a distance of at least 3-4 meters. As practice shows, the close proximity of fruiting trees most negatively affects peach seedlings.
- It is not difficult to grow a peach from a seed; you should only protect it from pests. Use various preparations that will keep the young plant from harmful insects. Peach is quite unpretentious and does not require a large number of organic fertilizers or additional watering. If you want to transplant a young tree to another place, this is best done in September or October.
